Freshness depends on the product, packaging, weather and how it is handled after delivery. This guide gives you a reliable starting point while keeping the instructions supplied with your product as the final authority.

What to do when your order arrives
Inspect the order
Check that the packaging is intact and the delivered products match the order. Contact customer care promptly if anything arrived damaged or unsuitable.
Read the product guidance
Use the storage notes on the product page or supplied with the batch. Product-specific directions take priority over general guidance.
Reseal after serving
Limit unnecessary air exposure and close the original pack securely, or transfer the product to a clean airtight container.
Storing cookies
Keep cookies sealed in a clean airtight container in a cool, dry place unless the product guidance says otherwise. Separate strongly flavoured varieties when practical so aromas and textures do not transfer between products.
For serving, allow the cookie to reach the temperature you prefer. If the product instructions permit warming, warm only briefly and handle carefully because fillings may become hot.
Storing brownies
Keep brownies tightly sealed in a cool, dry place unless the product guidance calls for refrigeration. Protect cut surfaces from air exposure to help preserve the intended dense centre.
Serve at room temperature or follow the product's warming guidance. Toppings, fillings and inclusions can change the best handling method, so check the individual product page first.
Freshness and safety checks
When you are uncertain about the condition of a product, do not taste it to test safety. Photograph the packaging and product, then contact customer care with your order number.
- Do not consume a product with visible mould or an unusual odour.
- Do not use food from packaging that arrived open, badly damaged or contaminated.
- Keep products away from direct sunlight, excess heat, steam and moisture.
- If an order includes batch-specific refrigeration guidance, follow it promptly.
